Hipgnosis, the design team behind the nearly 50-year-old album cover/t-shirt/poster/bumper sticker/coffee mug/etc. Imagine Dark Side of the Moon without its prism…. Classic rock albums and classic, unforgettable album covers are inseparably intertwined. Pepper’s or Abbey Road without thinking about their sleeves. Try calling to mind Nirvana’s Nevermind without its naked, swimming baby or London Calling without Paul Simenon smashing his bass.
